Learning Objectives
- Describe the importance of early identification of eating disorders through appropriate screening and identify at least two validated screening tools used in clinical practice.
- Recognize and explain at least two potentially serious medical complications associated with eating disorders.
- Analyze case presentations to identify co‐occurring medical conditions, including mast cell activation syndrome, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, Marfan syndrome, and rumination syndrome.
