About the speaker

Rebecca Brum

Rebecca Brum

Chief Clinical Officer
As a person, clinician and parent with lived experience, Rebecca Brumm is passionate about eating disorder treatment and healing the mind/body connection. Though she has helped clients through a variety of challenges in her practice as a therapist since 2005, she specializes in helping people overcoming eating disorders. Her expertise in this area comes from a variety of perspectives. Rebecca currently serves as the Chief Clinical Officer of Within Health. Previously she was the Clinical Director of the Laureate Psychiatric Clinic Hospital, a 120 bed psychiatric hospital that includes their nationally recognized eating disorder treatment program. Rebecca also has established two outpatient multidisciplinary eating disorder specialty clinics, one in Michigan and in Oklahoma and is the creator of the parent resource Parenting Through Eating Disorders. She is a certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, a Health At Every Size (HAES) practitioner, and she has served as a national health presenter for Cigna Health. Additionally, Rebecca is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist -Supervisor (CEDS-S). Rebecca is passionate about helping people develop self-compassion, connection, acceptance and healing.
