Esta formación introductoria está dirigida a nutricionistas, psicólogos, médicos, pediatras, psiquiatras, enfermeros, trabajadores sociales y otros profesionales que trabajan con población infantojuvenil afectada por trastornos de la conducta alimentaria (TCA). Los nutricionistas son un recurso clave, aún poco aprovechado, en el tratamiento de los TCA. Este curso nace con el objetivo de visibilizar, fortalecer y posicionar el rol del dietista-nutricionista dentro del modelo FBT, un enfoque terapéutico de primera línea para la recuperación de niños, adolescentes y adultos jóvenes.


A lo largo del curso exploraremos la historia, los principios y las tres fases del FBT, entendiendo cómo se articula este modelo en la práctica clínica real y cómo colaboran e interactúan los distintos profesionales.

  • Beatriz Verdi, MSc

    Beatriz Verdi is a dietitian specializing in eating disorders, with a Master’s Degree in Psychology and more than 25 years of clinical and teaching experience across Spain and Latin America. Her clinical experience spans inpatient, day treatment, and outpatient settings, working with adolescents and adults with eating disorders. She is founder and director of Beatriz Verdi Nutrición, a Madrid-based center specializing in nutritional rehabilitation and eating disorder treatment, and Director of Nutrition Services at the Instituto Europeo de Psicología Positiva. She serves as Co-Chair of the iaedp™ International Chapter in Spain and is a member of the Eating Disorders Nutrition Specialization Group of the Academia Española de Nutrición y Dietética and the Asociación Española para el Estudio de los Trastornos de la Conducta Alimentaria (AEETCA). She also co-founded the Unidad de Nutrición Integral y Trastornos de la Conducta Alimentaria (UNITCA) at Centro Médico de Caracas, Venezuela. Beatriz teaches in Master’s programs in Eating Disorders at APIR-UDIMA and ISEP Formación, as well as in the Advanced Training Program in Eating Disorders at Universidad Central de Venezuela. Her clinical practice integrates evidence-based nutritional rehabilitation, Family-Based Treatment (FBT), and a trauma-informed approach.

  • Naiara Aizpurua

    Naiara Aizpurua is a dietitian-nutritionist and community pharmacist specializing in eating disorders (EDs), disordered eating, and sports nutrition. She serves as Spain Co-Chair of the iaedp™ International Chapter and is an active member of the Spanish Association for the Study of Eating Disorders (AEETCA). She is the founder of a private practice specializing in eating disorders, where she provides trauma-informed, weight-inclusive nutritional care for adolescents and adults. In addition to her clinical work, she provides continuing education for healthcare professionals and co-founded “Nutriendo el Plato”, an educational initiative providing evidence-based resources and support for families of young people with eating disorders. Her work focuses on integrating evidence-based nutrition, interdisciplinary collaboration, and compassionate nutritional care for individuals and families affected by eating disorders.
